Being good at something can make it very easy to keep doing it. A reflection on competence, momentum and whether the work we keep accepting is still work we would consciously choose.

What you're good at and what you're drawn toward aren't always the same thing. A reflection on noticing what keeps returning to your attention, before deciding what it means.

Not everything we follow needs to become useful. Some interests can remain small, private, unfinished and worthwhile simply because they hold our attention.

Regular making does more than improve skill. It creates familiarity with our own choices, and over time that familiarity can become trust.
